Once a criminal, Marvel Comics' Scott Lang really turned his life around when he became Ant-Man, eschewing his dishonest ways for the straight and narrow superhero lifestyle.

However, the cover for his new comic, announced today on Hero Complex, indicates that the Avenger may be taking a darker turn. Either that, or he's really working hard on reforming other super-powered criminals by offering them work with his budding security business. In fact, Grizzly, seen to Ant-Man's right, is already an Ant-Man Security Solutions employee.

"We're hinting at a major development for Scott," writer Nick Spencer told Hero Complex of the Mark Brooks-illustrated cover. "Scott is an ex-con, he's a guy with a criminal past. This teaser hints that he may not be quite as reformed as we might have thought. This is our first big hint that Scott's going to find himself back in his old world, back in a criminal life."

"The key thing to take away from the promo images is, if you look at Scott's hand that he's holding behind his back, he has his fingers crossed," added editor Wil Moss.

"Ant-Man" #1, written by Nick Spencer and illustrated by Ramon Rosanas, arrives in late 2015.
