Knowledge Waits is a feature where I just share some bit of comic book history that interests me.

Longtime pal to everyone at Comics Should Be Good, Brad Reed, decided to do some charts to, as he puts it, "Get His Nerd On." So hey, he put the effort into making these charts, I figured I might as well share them with you all.

The charts detail the amount of story pages in a typical Marvel Comic book by year...

Then cost of a typical Marvel Comic book by year (adjusted for 2017 dollars)....

Finally, cost per sotry page of a typical Marvel Comic book by year (based on the aforementioned adjustment)...

Thanks, Brad! Interesting stuff!

If anyone else has something interesting that they'd like to share, or if they have an interesting piece of comic book history that they'd like to see me spotlight, just drop me a line at brianc@cbr.com!
