A fan-made infographic chronicles the Tesseract's journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The infographic, which was posted to the r/MarvelStudios subreddit, highlights the Space Stone's arc within the MCU. The Tesseract's trajectory begins in Captain America: First Avenger as Red Skull is defeated by Captain America trying to obtain it for HYDRA's use. Tony Stark's father Howard obtains the cube as seen in Iron Man 2. In Captain Marvel, the Tesseract is used by Dr. Wendy Lawson (Mar-Vell) in her failed light-speed travel test, leading to Carol Danvers absorbing it. Lawson's cat Goose ends up eating it before spitting it out on Nick Fury's desk.

It pops up again in The Avengers, where Loki steals it in an effort to conquer Earth before being taken back to Asgard. In Thor: Ragnarok, Loki steals it again under Thanos' control as Hela tries taking over Asgard. This leads to the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, where Loki hands it to Thanos to save Thor before being killed. Thanos crushes it to reveal the Space Stone and places it within his gauntlet.

The reaction within the Reddit page veered into a debate, as users went back and forth about the origin and importance of the stone within the MCU. However, seeing the Tesseract move from film to film only emphasizes the MCU's world-building and lore.
