Tuesday's second Marvel one-word teaser image promotes writer Zeb Wells and artist Mike Del Mundo working together on an All-New Marvel NOW! book having something to do with an "Assassin," to be revealed next week at New York Comic Con.

"Assassin" could refer to multiple citizens in the Marvel Universe -- the Steve McNiven-illustrated "Inhumanity" teaser released in July contained the Winter Soldier, a formerly brainwashed Soviet assassin and a major featured player in April 2014's Marvel Studios feature film "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." So the odds are strong that the he'll be starring in his own book again sooner rather than later, and the silver color of "Assassin" calls to mind the character's cybernetic arm.

There's also Elektra, maybe the most famous assassin in Marvel lore, and the star of Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz's classic 1980s miniseries, "Elektra: Assassin." First known as part of the "Daredevil" cast, Elektra is currently a member of the "Thunderbolts" team, and has recent history with Wells, who wrote the character in his freshly wrapped "Savage Wolverine" arc.

Wells' most recent post at Marvel was on "Nova," a run he's wrapping with November's issue #10. Del Mundo is best known for his eye-catching covers at Marvel on books like "X-Men: Legacy," but he's illustrated interior stories for "A+X" and the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Infinite Comic.

The comic book series behind this teaser will be revealed Sunday, Oct. 13, during the "Superior Spider-Man & Friends" panel at NYCC -- seemingly an odd panel to announce a new Winter Soldier book, but not a bad fit for a title involving Elektra -- or, of course, something else entirely.
