Like Quicksilver after three cups of coffee, things move fast here in The
House! Take the free, five-page inserts that we're delivering each and every
week in May, for example. Since we first announced this pulse-pounding
project, details have changed... and you deserve to hear the latest, right?
First, for the first three weeks of the month, half of our mighty mags will
contain the three-part "Spider-Man and Jay Leno in: One Night Only" story by
writer Ron Zimmerman (SPIDER-MAN'S TANGLED WEB #13) and artist Greg Capullo
(Spawn). And, yes, as the title suggests, The Tonight Show's Jay Leno
actually stars along with the world-famous web-slinger in this all-new
adventure! After that, for the last two weeks of the month, half of our
books will contain the first two chapters of "Spider-Man: You Can Call Me
Al", by Zimmerman and penciler Al Rio -- which leads directly into June's
SPIDER-MAN: GET KRAVEN miniseries!
Second, I can now reveal that -- for those same five weeks -- the other half
of our crazy comics will contain the all-new, five-part lead-in to THE CALL,
by scribe Chuck Austen (U.S. WAR MACHINE) and artist David Finch! And, as
you might have guessed, this story leads into the upcoming much buzzed-about
THE CALL OF DUTY: THE BROTHERHOOD miniseries!
