Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez is about to become her own headliner. Following "The Law of Inferno Dynamics," the mid-season finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", Marvel announced a spin-off miniseries titles "Slingshot."

The brief trailer invites viewers to "witness Agent Yo-Yo's secret mission in an all-new, six-part digital miniseries." The new series kicks off on December 13 and will be available to stream on the ABC app as well as ABC.com. You can check out the full video in addition to the teaser for January 10's episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC's website.

The series stars Natalia Cordova-Buckley, the Inhuman agent with the ability to run faster than the eye can see before snapping back into place. The announce also makes it sound as though she will be accompanied by several other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well.

According to Cordova-Buckley in a one-on-one interview, "Slingshot" will explore Yo-Yo's adventures between Seasons 3 and 4. "In 'Slingshot,' we're going to see a lot of her anger and her pain come out in regard to certain injustices that have been done to her and her family," she explains. "But at the same time, she never loses her humanity. She doesn't let the anger blind her."

Returning Tuesday, January 10 at 10 pm ET/PT on ABC, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy "Quake" Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie and more.
