As the saying goes when it comes to Marvel's shared cinematic universe, "it's all connected." Marvel Television's small screen offerings have interacted with the feature films since the launch of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." back in 2013. Since then, the number of Marvel TV shows has increased, expanding the MCU and the number of characters it contains. And based on a new hint from Marvel Entertainment's VP of Current Animation Stephen Wacker's Tumblr, it looks like there could be another crossover between series on the way.

The hint came after Wacker was asked if any characters from "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." would appear in any of Marvel Animation's series. "Not at the moment," Wacker answered. "But there is another live action crossover coming."

It's unclear based on the hint which live-action Marvel properties will engage in a crossover. The question is referring to a March 2016 episode of "Ultimate Spider-Man vs. the Sinister 6" titled "Lizards" wherein "S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker voiced Agents Simmons and Fitz.

Marvel TV has been home to a number of crossovers in its three-year history. Agent Peggy Carter appeared in a number of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." episodes prior to the launch of her own television series, and characters from Marvel movies (like Nick Fury, Lady Sif and Maria Hill) have appeared on "S.H.I.E.L.D." Additionally, Marvel's Netflix series "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones" have shared a few characters, like Rosario Dawson's Clare Temple.

Marvel has a busy live-action slate coming up. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns for season four on September 20; "Marvel's Luke Cage" debuts on Netflix on September 30; and "Doctor Strange" hits theaters on November 4.
