It seems that folks wishing to remain spoiler-free for the ending of Hugh Jackman's third and final solo outing as the clawed Canadian mutant might also need to skip "The Wolverine," too.

The 2013 film, Jackman's second solo Wolverine outing, contained a scene where the character Yukio, who has the power to see into the future, tells Logan, “I see you on your back, there’s blood everywhere. You’re holding your own heart in your hand.”

While that scene plays out literally later in the film, with Logan forced to cut out a parasite that has latched itself onto his heart, one film fan going by the Twitter handle @MauriceTheChosenOne© spotted a thematic parallel between Yukio's prophecy and the ending of the new "Logan" movie.

To which "Logan" director James Mangold replied:

He then went on to confirm and retweet @MauriceTheChosenOne©'s theory on his own feed.

So there we have it -- sometimes it is a lot harder to avoid spoilers than it first appears.

Now in theaters nationwide, “Logan” stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Dafne Keen and Stephen Merchant.
