MAN OF STEEL
Absolute Radio spoke with “Man of Steel” and “The Dark Knight Rises” producer Charles Roven about the upcoming Superman reboot and what fans can expect from the new version of the Man of Steel.
“Chris [Nolan] came up with the story with David Goyer, so a lot of the same team is in place,” said Roven. “I’m really excited about the picture. There’s an announcement piece that’s on the current ‘Dark Knight Rises’ when it comes out and I think people will be a little bit surprised to what we decided to do with it, but also recognize we’re doing something completely different and creating a Superman that has never been seen before.”

DARK KNIGHT RISES
While speaking with Digital Spy, Anne Hathaway talked about her approach to playing Selina Kyle and expressed interest in a possible Catwoman spin-off picture — but only if Christopher Nolan decides he wants to do it.
“If [Nolan] is interested then I’m very interested,” Hathaway told Digital Spy. “I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it’s with the right people. She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least.”

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS 2
Screenwriter Simon Kinberg spoke with Collider about his experience writing the upcoming “X-Men: First Class” sequel with Matthew Vaughan and Jane Goldman.
“I wish I could tell you about it, but literally, it’s like the most guarded state secret I’ve ever been around,” Kinberg told Collider. “I can tell you that it’s going really well, and I can tell you that I’ve been working closely with Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman on the script of the movie and that we hope to be shooting in Spring of next year to come out in July of 2014 and that I’m really excited about it, because the only thing I can say, because I have to be extraordinarily vague about it, because the last time I talked to anybody about it, I got in trouble…big trouble…what I can tell you is [that] it’s extraordinarily ambitious. It is unlike the other X-Men movies and yet very much a celebration of the X-Men movies.”
