Sony Pictures has released the final character vignettes for Antoine Fuqua's remake of "The Magnificent Seven," focusing on Chris Pratt's Josh Faraday and Denzel Washington's Sam Chisolm.

The featurettes spotlight the characters' personalities: Farraday is a fierce drinker and devilish gambler who is equal parts charming and deadly, while Chisolm is a stern bounty hunter and courageous leader who's "a master with his weapon."

"Faraday's a bit of a fox," Pratt explains. "He's a trickster, a gambler, a drinker. He loves the ladies, but he's deadly in a firefight."

Sony had already released vignettes for the other main characters: Ethan Hawke as Goodnight Robicheaux, Vincent D'Onofrio as Jack Horne, Byung-hun Lee as Billy Rocks, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Vasquez, and Martin Sensmeier as Red Harvest.

A remake of the 1960 Western classic -- itself an adaptation of the Japanese film "Seven Samurai" --  "The Magnificent Seven" follows seven outlaws hired to defend the town of Rose Creek from the schemes of a wealthy industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, played by Peter Sarsgaard. However, as they prepare for the confrontation and get to know the townspeople, the Seven discover they're fighting for more than money.

Also starring Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer and Vinnie Jones, "The Magnificent Seven" opens Sept. 23.
