Since the Dawn of X, Magneto has worn an all-white version of his classic outfit. However, the X of Swords crossover event will see the Master of Magnetism don his old red and purple uniform.

A teaser image by artist Leinil Francis Yu showcases Magneto summoning his armor to him, while saying, "I may even dress for the occasion." The image comes from X-Men #11, by Yu and Jonathan Hickman; the issue is a lead-in to X of Swords.

The X-Men are currently dealing with the events of another crossover. The Empyre: X-Men one-shot features the Scarlet Witch attempting to resurrect the population of former mutant nation Krakoa. However, something went horribly wrong and the Genoshans were reborn as zombies. They soon encountered the plantlike Cotati, and the ensuing battle has drawn in the X-Men. The synopsis for X-Men #11 teases that the Cotati will invade Krakoa, as their plantlike nature allows them to access the Krakoan gates. The summoner of Arrako is also teased to play a role in the issue.

The synopsis for the issue follows:

THE COTATI INVASION OF KRAKOA. THE SUMMONER OF ARAKKO.
