Witness them! For the past four days, if you lived in downtown Seattle, needed a ride and requested an Uber, you might have received quite a surprise when a vehicle straight out of the world of "Mad Max: Fury Road" showed up to drive you to Valhalla -- or your requested destination, whichever.

Celebrating the release of the new "Mad Max" video game on September 1, Uber partnered with Warner Bros. for the promotional event, which saw vehicles designed after the cars from Mad Max picking up customers and driving them around downtown Seattle -- for free since, as the Uber website itself put it, "your dollars are worthless in the Wasteland." The entire write-up of rules for the event goes all in with the references.

The event lasted from Aug. 28 through Aug. 31 from 10 am to 6 pm. Uber Seattle's Twitter page features images from throughout the event that bloodbags and Warboys posted, showing everyone what a lovely day it was for Seattle residents.

The "Mad Max" video game rides into stores Tuesday, September 1.
