Don't feel bad if you forgot that Mad Max: Fury Road was in the works. The film finds original Road Warrior director George Miller returning to the franchise he created in the Australian outback in the late 1970s. Tom Hardy stars as Max, appearing alongside Charlize Theron, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz.

Not much had been heard about the project until Thursday, when a new image surfaced along with word of more shooting and rumors of the release being pushed back to 2015. (OK, it's not a "new" image, but rather a high-quality, official version of a blurry snapshot that made the rounds last year.)

The still hit after IF reported earlier this week that the project is heading to Sydney, Australia, for three weeks of shooting, beginning Nov. 22. That will add to the footage already shot in the Namibian desert and at the Cape Town Film Studio.

Ain't It Cool News also cited a source as saying that those extra three weeks aren't actually reshoots, but "material which was not able to be captured during the picture's initial block of photography." With so much still going on with this project, which was intended for a 2014 release, it seems very possible that Mad Max: Fury Road will be pushed back to 2015, a sentiment recently tweeted out by Digital Spy.
