New set photos for Luke Cage Season 2 show the Heroes for Hire having a little spat. In the set photos -- which you can view here -- Mike Colter and Finn Jones reprise their roles as Luke Cage and Iron Fist respectively. What appears to be a chat soon turns physical, with Danny taking a swing at Luke.

Since we know that the duo will be working together in the show, there's a chance they're just sparring; Danny could be showing Luke some moves he could use against bad guys. In the photos, Danny is able to pin the bulletproof hero to the ground, which is something he definitely had problems with in The Defenders.

The photos show Danny wearing a green hoodie as a nod to his costume in the comics. What's more, it says "Sweet Xmas" on the back, which is an obvious nod to Luke's iconic catchphrase from both the comics and the show.

The characters' relationship definitely started out rocky in The Defenders, but their bond became stronger as the series progressed. “There are people that love the idea of Heroes for Hire,” Colter explained in an earlier interview. “When people saw The Defenders, they thought the relationship was good between Finn [Jones] and I, and they are curious. They want to see more of that. He will bring some fresh blood in the new season, and I’m hoping that people will respond to it well.”

“We are teamed up for a bit,” he said. “That’s the whole point of bringing that flavor to it. I can see how this works. That’s what good about it. We’re giving people what they want. A lot of times people wanted to see Jessica Jones and Luke and what happens to them; but we went out on a limb, and decided to ‘let’s give a little Heroes for Hire somewhere in the season and see what happens.’ Hopefully people will respond to it.”

Premiering in 2018 on Netflix, the 13-episode second season of Luke Cage features returning cast members Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard and Theo Rossi as Shades, joined by newcomers Mustafa Shakir as John McIver and Gabrielle Dennis as Tilda Johnson.
