Yes, you read that correctly, Lucy Liu and Snoop Dogg have boarded James Franco's post-apocalyptic thriller "Future World."

They're joined by Milla Jovovich. Method Man, Margarita Levieva, Jeffrey Wahlberg and, of course, Franco himself.

Co-directed by Franco and Bruce Cheung from a script by Cheung and Jay Davis (based on an original story by Franco), "Future World" is set in the barren landscape of a dystopian world, where a young prince and a robot named Ash go on a journey of self-discovery through the violent and desolate Wastelands.

Variety reports the film is financed by Ambi Group, which partnered with Franco to produce the upcoming adaptation of John Steinbeck's "In Dubious Battle." Ambi Distribution will handle global sales for "Future World."
