Luc Besson's EuropaCorp is developing sequels to the 2014 Scarlett Johansson blockbuster "Lucy" and the 2011 Zoe Saldana action film "Colombiana."

The Playlist reports the announcement came at CineEurope 2015 in Barcelona, where EuropaCorps revealed its upcoming film slate.

That "Lucy," written and directed by Besson, is getting a sequel should surprise no one. Produced for the just $40 million, the sci-fi film about a woman who gains superhuman abilities after absorbing a nootropic drug into her bloodstream, grossed nearly $459 million worldwide, cementing Johansson as an action star.

However, "Colombiana" was only moderately successful, earning $61 million on a $40 million and receiving largely negative reviews. Still, the film helped to propel Saldana's rising star.

No dates are given for either sequel; they're simply listed as "in development."
