X-Men: First Class actor Lucas Till and Suburgatory star Jane Levy are being considered for the lead role in Monster Trucks, which TheWrap described as a $100 million action/adventure that Paramount Pictures hopes will launch a Transformers-like blockbuster franchise.

Directed by Chris Wedge (Ice Age) from a script from Kung Fu Panda writers writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, Monster Trucks is based on the popular Hasbro toy line.

According to the website, Till would play "a bad boy with a good heart," while Levy's character is described as “what one might imagine Tina Fey was like in high school.”

Monster Trucks will debut on May 29, 2015.
