After months of speculation by fans, it appears that the upcoming "Logan" film will indeed have a post-credits scene.

Collider reports that the movie will have the scene added prior to its release next month, despite the fact it was not included in advance press screenings. "It’ll have a post-credits scene," confirms Collider's Steve Weintraub. "I’m not sure if it’s half way through the credits or at the very end, but I can 100 percent tell you something will be there."

The contents of the scene remain unknown to the public. It's been speculated that such a clip might feature a teaser for next year's sequel to "Deadpool," or that it might serve as a kind of sendoff for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. The pair have played Logan and Professor Xavier respectively starting with Bryan Singer's "X-Men" in 2000.

"Logan" also stars Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney (X-23), and features the story of an aging Logan and Prof. X in a darker near-future giving aid to the young mutant. James Mangold directs the film that officially opens in theaters on Friday, March 3, with advance public screenings the prior evening.
