Fans clamoring for a black-and-white version of James Mangold's Logan were surely thrilled to hear the Fox film will indeed receive that treatment. Titled Logan Noir, its release is celebrated in all of its monochromatic glory in a new trailer.

The footage shows that none of Logan's heart and soul was due to its color, as the film's emotional depth shines through regardless of what shades it is presented in. Black-and-white photos by director James Mangold were also a signature element in the early marketing for Logan, so it comes as no surprise the film lends itself so effortlessly to this apporach. The Noir version could possibly become the favored viewing format for many fans, with the shades of gray tying into the themes of both the story and the title character.
