There was a lot to love about Logan, but one of the undisputed highlights is newcomer Dafne Keen's portrayal of Laura Kinney, aka X-23. The young actress managed to hold her own next to veteran actors Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, both of whom have appeared in their roles as Wolverine and Charles Xavier longer than she's been alive.

Now Fox has released footage of Keen's audition opposite Jackman that showcases both her acting improvisation abilities. Caution: Some of the language isn't exactly safe for work.

"It was one of the most extraordinary bits of audition tape I'd ever seen in my life," Stewart recounts in the video, and it's difficult to argue otherwise.

At Keen's suggestion, the dialogue was changed to add a mix of Spanish and English during her argument with Jackman, resulting in a bilingual showdown that's both intense and entertaining. "There's a scene where she punches me in the arm, and I went home, and had bruises all over my arm," Jackman remembers. "No offense to all those guys I fought, but I'd never gone home with bruises until that day."

Arriving May 23 on Blu-ray and DVD, director James Mangold's film stars Hugh Jackman as Logan, Patrick Stewart as Charles, Dafne Keen as Laura, Boyd Holbrook as Pierce and Stephen Merchant as Caliban.
