Joe Casey and Chris Burnham's "Officer Downe" has landed at Living Out Loud Films, which will finance a live-action adaption of the graphic novel.

The original graphic novel, which was published by Image comics, follows a police officer that even death can't prevent from delivering justice on mean city streets.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, producers Mark Neveldine and Skip Williamson are attached to the project. Neveldine and Williamson's past credits include "Crank." They will team up with Cole Payne and Casey, who will pen the script.

M. Shawn Crahan of Slipknot fame is on board to direct. This won't be Crahan's first time in the director's chair; he has helmed many of the band's music videos.

Nicolas Chartier's Voltage Pictures is set to pitch the project to international buyers at Berlin's European Film Market this week.

"Officer Downe" begins production in March.
