Lion Forge Comics will expand their Catalyst Prime imprint with two titles set to launch later this year. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the two new titles -- "Incidentals" and "K.I.N.O."-- will launch later this year following "Catalyst Prime: The Event," set to hit comic stands on May 6th.

The forthcoming imprint will be headed by senior editor Joseph Illidge and will launch with "Catalyst Prime: The Event" on Free Comic Book Day 2017. Following that, the imprint will launch seven different series throughout the rest of 2017, including the aforementioned "Incidentals" and "K.I.N.O." Along with the above news, The Hollywood Reporter was also able to reveal artwork and solicitation information for both upcoming series. "Incidentals," which was created by screenwriter Ramon Govea who'll also serve as the story consultant, will also bring on Larry Stroman (Penciller), Rob Stull (Inker), Snakebite Cortez (Colorist), and Saida Temofonte (Letterer) to work with writer Joe Casey. The series' description reads:

Billionaire Bo Vincent Chen is keeping a lot of secrets.

After receiving mysterious powers from the meteor fallout of The Event, Bo has brought together a group of people with newly-gained abilities to make the world's first covert operations superhero team.

Unfortunately, things don't go according to plan, and the world is running out of time...because Bo's final secret is the real reason why Earth desperately needs a team of heroes.

Catalyst Prime's second upcoming series, "K.I.N.O." will see comic book artist Jefte Palo work with Casey on the book, along with colorist Chris Sotomayor and letterer Todd Klein. Much like with "Incidentals," the events of "K.I.N.O." will also kick off following "Catalyst Prime: The Event." "K.I.N.O.'s" solicitation info reads:

Alistair Meath of Britain's Royal Air Force was one of the heroic astronauts who flew a suicide mission to save the Earth from an asteroid collision.

Seven months after The Event that changed the world, a new hero has emerged, saving lives and fighting villainy everywhere! KINO is the newest superhero for our times! But why is his world strangely different from our own, and how can the Kinetic Impulse Neoterrestrial Operative possibly be the secret identity of the deceased Alistair Meath?

Fans can pick up "Catalyst Prime: The Event" on Free Comic Book Day to see how The Event kicks off before picking up both "K.I.N.O." and "Incidentals" when they hit shelves later this year.
