Last week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, which appears poised to deliver another delightful serving of the LEGO-flavored superhero antics of the 2013 original.

That announcement came paired with a very brief 15-second teaser trailer -- simply LEGO Baby Groot running and LEGO Doctor Strange hovering around the logo -- and the full-length, nearly two-minute long version debuted today.

Along with a lot more of LEGO Baby Groot (and LEGO full-sized Groot), fans will also spot the rest of the primary Guardians of the Galaxy -- Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Gamora and Drax -- plus Loki, Doctor Octopus, the Enchantress, Ego the Living Planet, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen, Captain America, a "Planet Hulk"-style gladiator Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Giant-Man, Mysterio, Thor, a lot of mummies and Kang the Conqueror, seemingly the cause of what Thor dubs "temporal foolery" -- all set to the sounds of "Tick Tick Boom" by The Hives. Notably, no X-Men characters appear in the trailer, though they were a part of the first game.

The appearance of Kang is accompanied by a new bit of info on the game: It's co-written by comics superstar Kurt Busiek, the writer of Astro City, The Autumnlands and the epic, 16-part "Kang Dynasty" story during his run on Avengers.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is scheduled for release on Nov. 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; a Nintendo Switch release is on the way but doesn't have a firm release date beyond "this holiday." Here's the official description of the game:

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an all-new, epic adventure and sequel to the smash hit, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This original branching storyline, co-written by comic book veteran Kurt Busiek, transports players into a cosmic battle across a myriad of Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the incredible open hub world of Chronopolis. Packed with signature LEGO humor for fans of all ages, gamers will go head-to-head with the time-travelling Kang the Conqueror through Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, New York City in 2099 and many other Marvel settings.
