Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will release Nov. 14 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The sequel to 2013's Marvel adventure mash-up is also developing a version for the Nintendo Switch, planned to release sometime this Holiday season. Like the original, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will bring together heroes, villains and locations from across the whole Marvel Universe.

Players are tasked with taking down the time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror as they visit different time periods and settings themselves, accessed through the the game's hub world, Chronopolis. Locations featured in the game include Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar and New York City in 2099. In addition, the game will also feature a new four-player battle mode that allows for competitive or cooperative play.

Along with the announcement, a teaser trailer for the game was released, featuring LEGO Baby Groot running from a hectic battleground. The preview ends with Doctor Strange soaring by the logo with an announcement of a full-length trailer reveal on May 23.

Developed by TT Games, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will feature iconic characters from the Marvel Universe including Cowboy Captain America, Spider-Man 2099, Thor, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin and dozens of more heroes and villains.
