A new LEGO Ideas set pitch would let you bring the Iron Giant right into your living room.

LEGO Ideas lets creative minds design models for LEGO sets they want to see. If they get enough community supporters, LEGO will review their project and possibly turn it into an actual LEGO product to be sold around the world.

The Iron Giant set includes the titular Iron Giant, as well as the film's nine-year-old hero Hogarth Hughes, his mother Annie, her eventual boyfriend Dean McCoppin and government agent Kent Mansley. It also includes an attachable circular "S" like the one the Iron Giant can be seen wearing at the end of the movie, as well as accessories for each of the minifigures, like a coffee pot for Annie, a fedora for Kent and an aviator helmet and toy rifle for Hogarth.

The entire build -- which includes the Giant, the minifigures and accessories -- consists of approximately 2,023 pieces. The Iron Giant's head rotates and tilts and, with a little help from the power of imagination, he can reenact all of the well-known scenes from the movie with the full range of motion allowed by his joints.

"The Iron Giant" won nine Annie Awards and a BAFTA Children's Award for Best Feature Film after its 1999 release. It was also nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation. It marked the film directorial debut of Brad Bird, who would go on to direct "The Incredibles," "Ratatouille" and "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol."

The "Iron Giant" LEGO Ideas set currently sits at over 2,000 supportersm with more than 500 days left to go. You can sign up to support the project by clicking here.
