DC's Legends of Tomorrow have time warped themselves right into this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego. Executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Phil Klemmer, stars Dominic Pucell, Nick Zano, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Maisie Richarson-Sellers, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh and Tala Ashe were on hand to discuss the upcoming Season 3, which hits The CW this fall.

The panel opened with a Season 3 sizzle reel, which shows the Legends trying to fix the trouble they caused in the Season 2 finale. The Legends also stop by the circus in Season 3.

"We're going to open with a direct pickup with the end of Season 2," Klemmer revealed, then referenced Rip Hunter's Time Bureau. "Last season, the Legends were the only game in town... now they're sort of competing with the best and the brightest... the existential question for our guys are, 'How do we fit into this world?'"

Neal McDonough will return for Season 3. "We'll be meeting a new version of Damien Darhk. A little less silly, a little more formidable... he is coming for blood," Klemmer said.

Captain Cold will also return in a recurring role.

"I like telling people what to do," Lotz joked. "It's been good so far."

"Her name is Zari. She is from the near future... she is a powerful woman who speaks her mind. She's a hacker. She's going to meet the Legends in 2030... she's sort of seen the fallout of 2017. She's in this dystopian future," Ashe revealed of her character. She also said her character will butt heads with Routh's Ray.

"She thinks that, rather than fixing history, you should improve history," she added.

"We look at our guys like a family. The drama comes when you destabalize that with a new person," Klemmer explained. "We're realizing, philosophically, there's more we could be doing as a team... the season usually ends with the team feeling great about themselves... she's the one who changes things and challenges what their purpose is."

"We have a concept which we may or may not be able to afford... we have a new character named Firestein. So it's a Freaky Friday kind of situation, so get ready to impersonate one another," Klemmer revealed. Martin Stein and Jax will switch bodies for the episode.

Season 3 will also feature the first appearance of Ray's bother Sydney. "As we established... Syndey looks just like Brandon, so Brandon has to play to parts," Guggenheim shared.

Guggenheim revealed that Gideon will reappear as a human played by Amy Pemberton. He also said that Captain Cold will not be brought back through time travel.

"It's definitely time for Sara to settle down, or at least have a relationship that's more than a roll in the hay. It's hard when you're travelling through time," Klemmer said.

"It's definitely been a priority of ours to reestablish Sara's bisexuality in Season 3," Guggenheim added. "It's a big, important thing for us this year."

"For her, it's all about being fluid and being true to herself," Lotz pitched in.

Asked if Constantine could appear on Legends of Tomorrow Season 3, Klemmer said, "We're discussing it now."

"We talked to Matt [Ryan], and Matt's currently busy doing something right now... but we've had really good conversations with Matt," Guggenheim added.

"We are having an 80's episode," Klemmer revealed. "We're going to investigate Ray Palmer's childhood a bit and what formed the man... we're going to meet your mom."

"Keep her away from Caity!" Routh laughed.

"It's actually going to be 'keep her away from Mick,'" Klemmer added.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, on The CW, Legends of Tomorrow stars Victor Garber as Martin Stein, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.
