The second season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow received acclaim for building on the show's time-traveling premise and highlighting its ensemble cast, in what many critics noted as an improvement from its first year. That second season is now on Blu-ray and DVD, and CBR has an exclusive clip from the home release extras.

In a deleted scene from "Land of the Lost," which originally on March 7 as the season's 13th episode, Nate/Steel (Nick Zano) and Amaya/Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) are trapped -- and while Nate attempts to use brute strength to extricate themselves, Vixen has a more efficient (and effective) approach. As it is indeed a deleted scene, the clip (viewable above) is presented with temporary visual effects, with the added bonus of giving something of a glimpse on the behind-the-scenes process of rendering Nate's metallic skin.

Along with all 17 episodes of Legends of Tomorrow season two, the home release also includes more deleted scenes, a gag reel and the show's 2016 panel from Comic-Con International in San Diego.

The Arrowverse show is set to return to The CW for a third season starting on Oct. 10, which will include the return of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). "He was kind of glib and a lighter version of himself last season," Legends showrunner Phil Klemmer said at this year's Comic-Con. "We want to give him some real teeth and a real sinister presence. We want to slowly build out his dark alliance."

Also starring Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Franz Drameh and Victor Garber DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs 9 p.m. Tuesday on The CW.
