"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" might just go medieval. On Twitter, executive producer Marc Guggenheim unveiled the title for Season 2's 12th episode: "Camelot/3000."

The title is obviously a nod to "Camelot 3000," a 12-issue miniseries by Mike W. Barr and Brian Bolland. The series, which was released from 1982 to 1985, propelled King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table into the year 3000. There, the reincarnated cast of characters found themselves in an overpopulated future, but they faced the same enemy: Morgan Le Fay. This time around, however, she led an alien invasion. Merlin, Guinevere and Mordred are also involved. The series also occasionally flashed back to the original Arthurian legend.

However, it's important to note that the "Legends" title is formatted differently than that of the original DC Comics miniseries. The show's version includes a slash between "Camelot" and "3000," which could indicate that the two time periods are not conjoined like they were in the miniseries. As they possess a timeship, the Legends could easily flip back and forth between medieval England and the future. Nevertheless, it's likely this title was chosen for a specific purpose that will become clear when the episode airs.

"Camelot/3000" is written by Anderson Mackenzie and directed by Antonio Negret. Shooting on the episode began today and will continue through December 12.

Airing Thursdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW, "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Firestorm, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Maisie Richardson-Seller as Vixen, Dominic Purcell as Heatwave and Nick Zano as Citizen Steel.
