‘League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’ named top-selling graphic novel by Publishers Weekly

As part of its “Comics and Graphic Novel Publishing Special Report,” the October 20 issue of the trade magazine Publishers Weekly has named THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN Volume 1 TP the top-selling graphic novel of 2003. This special section opens with a cover featuring THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS HC.

THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS is in the number two position on the list of 2003’s top-sellers, with DEATH: AT DEATH’S DOOR at number 11.

The section also includes an article by Douglas Wolk with numerous quotes from DC President & Publisher Paul Levitz. In addition, the article “The Comics Pantheon Likes” looks at Pantheon’s titles including Mythology: The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross.
