Another week arrives, and with it so does another round of "Suicide Squad" rumors from Latino Review's Umberto Gonzalez. After putting out reports about the Warner Bros. DC Comics adaptation's potential villain and the finer points of Jared Leto's Joker, Gonzalez today warns of Batman's possible role in the movie.

Following as it does on the heels of Zack Snyder's "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice," the villain-centric film will apparently cast Ben Affleck's Dark Knight in a shadowy antagonistic role with the Joker as the only person with an inside scoop on the vigilante. See Gonzalez's take below, courtesy of his Instagram account.

Details about THE GOD DAMN #BATMAN in #SUICIDESQUAD! #SPOILER #WARNING According to sources, in the film Batman is some sort of big boogeyman that the government REALLY hates. Get this, prior to the events in #BatmanvSuperman, THE JOKER is the only one to really ever meet him or know him and that's why he's so important to Amanda Waller. They have footage of Batman in action which they watch. There is a bit of dialogue where they say Batman is the key to tracking down all "the supers." Very cool stuff. #DC #DCCU #DCCOMICS #THEJOKER #AMANDAWALLER #THEDARKKNIGHTRETURNS A photo posted by Umberto Gonzalez (@umbertogonzalez) on
