"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington will play a major character in Activision's "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," the latest installment of the hit video game franchise.

However, Entertainment Weekly reports, the former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch will head up an entirely different sort of organization in his new role. Harington's character will lead the villainous Settlement Defense Force, or SDF.

“Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy," said narrative director Taylor Kurosaki.

EW also reports that filmmaker Guy Ritchie ("Sherlock Holmes," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.") will direct Harington's scenes.
