Mark Millar's "The Secret Service" comic book series wasn't his biggest hit for Icon Comics -- until the surprise hit 2015 film adaptation "Kingsman" came along, that is. Retitled "Kingsman: The Secret Service," Millar and Dave Gibbons' throwback spy yarn found a new legion of fans because of the movie, and -- though the original comic book was a limited series -- a theatrical franchise was fast in the making. Right on the heels of this week's first trailer for the sequel, "Kingsman: The Golden Circle," Millar announced that he isn't done writing about his unique espionage world, either.

This would probably be a good time to mention that a new Kingsman comic starts in September too. Kingsman: The Red Diamond. More later :)

Nothing else is known about the new series, although it would appear that it is a separate story from the upcoming sequel film; no artist has yet been announced for the new book. Nevertheless, there will be two new "Kingsman" adventures in September: one in theaters and one in comics.

Directed again by Matthew Vaughn with co-writer Jane Goldman, “The Golden Circle” will star Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Mark Strong and Sophie Cookson, along with newcomers Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges. “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” opens Sept. 22. "Kingsman: The Red Diamond" kicks off in September.
