Sony Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, the sequel that answers the question, "But what if Paul Blart ... went to Vegas?"

Kevin James returns in the sequel as the overly confident and less-than-capable security guard, except this time he's upgraded his turf from a shopping mall to a Las Vegas security expo. There, Blart will have to assemble and inspire his own Avenger-style team of underdog security guards to take on Neal McDonough's suavely dressed criminal. The trailer for the anti-heist film puts Blart to the test as he survives a bird fight, getting hit by a car and running into a glass door. If you're looking for extreme physical comedy, you can always -- as the trailer says -- "bet on Blart."

The first Paul Blart film grossed $146.3 million domestically upon its release in 2009. Opening April 17, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 also stars Raini Rodriguez, Eduardo Verastegui, Daniella Alonso and David Henrie also star.
