Arriving more than two months after the first teaser, the trailer balances setup with the action fans of the 2014 action thriller are looking for, while offering a roll call, of sorts, of returning characters, including Ian McShane as Winston, John Leguizamo as Auriello and Lance Reddick as Charon.

Oh, and then there's the dog, who so far seems to fare well, even after an explosion levels Wick's home.

In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick [Keanu Reeves] is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

Directed by Chad Stahelski from a script by Derek Kolstad, the film also stars Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Franco Nero, with John Leguizamo and Ian McShane. "John Wick: Chapter 2" arrives in theaters Feb. 10.
