Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" is inching closer and closer to wrapping production. Yesterday, actor Karl Urban posted a photo of "Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi on Twitter announcing that he's finished his time as the villain Skurge.

That's a wrap for Skurge !!

Urban, who fans know as Leonard "Bones" McCoy from the new "Star Trek" film franchise, will appear in the sequel as Thor's long-time nemesis Skurge The Executioner. Fans have been waiting for years to see the Asgardian's popular comic book antagonist appear on the big screen -- and it doesn't look like they’re going to be disappointed.

Skurge The Executioner, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1964, was born on Jotunheim, the legendary home of the Giants. He's also one of the original members of the Masters of Evil who went up against Thor and the Avengers in the Marvel Universe.

Pitting the God of Thunder against his comic book antagonist isn’t the only thing fans are waiting to see in the movie, though, as as it was revealed at San Diego Comic Con this year that elements of the “Planet Hulk” storyline will feature heavily in "Thor: Raganarok."

Neither Thor (Christ Hemsworth) nor The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) appeared in Marvel Studios epic superhero team movie “Captain America: Civil War,” so fans will be anticipating the release of “Thor: Ragnarok” eagerly -- though they’re going to have to wait until next year to see how their story unfolds.

Directed by Taika Waititi, "Thor: Ragnarok" stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and more.

“Thor: Ragnarok” has a release date of November 4, 2017.
