A single dad in Tennessee has earned a Piston Cup for parenting: Brett Winek transformed his red mustang into a replica of Lightning McQueen, the famous race car from Pixar's Cars films, simply to bring joy to his son.

Winek said his son is a huge fan of the films.

“Just to give you an example, he watched Cars 2 yesterday — three times,” Winek told Yahoo Parenting about his son. “McQueen is his favorite character, and he loves Mater, too. He has both of the characters in toy cars and mimics their sayings all the time while playing.”

Winkek approached Ramone Tennessee Tint for help with the job, which involved adding decals to the car and cost around $1,200.

“We just thought it would be a fun project, when lots of times you’re lettering plumbing trucks,” said Tennessee Tint owner Scott Huntley. Hmmm, maybe one of those trucks would make a good Mater ...
