Continuing the drum beat to the premiere of the “Justice League” trailer on Saturday, Warner Bros. has unveiled a new poster and video preview starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
The 20-second snippet shows Gadot as both Diana Prince and Wonder Woman, with the latter glimpsed in a fight scene that certainly resembles the one from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” but is indeed new. We also see her approach Batman’s Flying Fox aircraft, which opens at the end of the video to reveal the the Justice League, minus Superman.
Similar teasers released Thursday for the Zack Snyder film showcased Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Ezra Miller’s Flash, which means we should expect Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg to get the spotlight later today.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater enemy in “Justice League.” Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes, it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Arriving Nov. 17, “Justice League” stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen Queen Hippolyta and J. K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
