Professor Ray Palmer was secretly working on a problem deep within the nano-structure of the timeline. He shrank down beyond the atomic level to investigate, leaving behind a size-changing belt for Ryan Choi that was tethered to his own. What Ray found was the Microverse, the foundation of all reality. Ryan has since been unable to receive a signal from Ray… until now.

Accompanied by Batman, Lobo, and Frost, Ryan and the Justice League of America enter the Microverse, but their transport is attacked and crash-lands. While fighting their assailants, the JLA are aided by a mysterious figure bearing the other size-changing belt. Is it Ray Palmer?
