If you're one of the people that thinks Warner Bros.' extended DC cinematic universe lacks levity, then this Weird Trailer from Aldo Jones might be more up your alley. It might not be official, but the doom and gloom is certainly lessened in this new video that recuts nearly every scene in the latest "Justice League" trailer. The result is funny... and definitely surreal.

The recut trailer uses most of the original footage with a heavy dose of psychedelic editing. Graphics and sounds -- everything from clip art to belches -- are inserted into the "Justice League" trailer to create a wholly new viewing experience. In the resulting insanity the Flash is convinced Bruce Wayne is a paper boy, a man bites the head off a whole fish and Gal Gadot's neck twists back like a Pez dispenser.

The video was created by YouTube user Aldo Jones, who has made an entire series of weird, offshoot trailers for major film releases, like "X-Men: Apocalypse," "Captain America: Civil War" and "Suicide Squad." Aldo Jones' work is funded largely through tips and donations received via the Patreon recurring donations portal.

"Justice League" premieres in theaters November 17, 2017 and no, it will not star Eddie Murphy as Cyborg under any circumstances.
