Marvel's defenders may have kicked down the door with today's premiere of their new Netflix series, but DC Entertainment's major team of superhero isn't just sitting back on their capes. The marketing push behind the forthcoming Justice League film has been in full force for a while, and has just released a new batch of individual character posters.

Well, perhaps "released" is a strong word. Reddit user Two_Faced_Harvey has apparently leaked the posters online ahead of their official debut. The lineup includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg each striking a pose in front of their respective character logo.

Of course, Warner Bros. has officially released several impressive posters over the last few weeks. The most recent one depicted the entire team heading into action, and in July, a poster inspired by comic book artist Alex Ross hit the web to much fanfare. We have also seen The Flash team up with Walmart earlier this month and the official unveiling of many of the film's tie-in toys.

It's interesting to note that after an initial absence from all promotional material, Superman is now front and center in the most recent marketing efforts considering that Warner Bros. has refrained from showing him in official trailers and TV spots, though there have still been hints of the Man of Steel's involvement. The film's most recent trailer may have even depicted Alfred speaking to the reborn last son of Krpyton.

Superman, of course, was killed at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during the climactic battle against the monstrous Doomsday. Warner Bros. has attempted to downplay the Kryptonian's involvement in Justice League, likely hoping to keep quiet on the fact that Superman won't be dead for long.

Now, with only three months to go before the film's release, Warner Bros. is finally playing up the involvement of the Man of Steel. It's worth noting that Superman has also been featured in a suit that is a slightly lighter blue than the one seen in previous DCEU installments.
