Fans were treated to an Alex Ross-inspired Justice League ensemble poster last July at Comic-Con International in San Diego (sans Superman), and now Warner Bros. has revealed a closer look at the individual portraits that make up the epic group shot.

These shots were taken by photographer Clay Enos and now we get detailed, up-close and personal looks at Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman in preparation for Steppenwolf's invasion of Earth on behalf of Darkseid on Apokolips. In a previous interview, Enos indicated the shoot was inspired by the Silver Age Justice League in a cover for the 2005 series Justice, written by Ross and Jim Kreuger with interior art by Ross and Doug Braithwaite.

"I used this exact image as my reference for what became the latest JL poster. I simply had the idea and took the initiative to pay homage to Alex Ross by making a few quick portraits in that distinctive light. I’m so glad the WB marketing team ran with them. I love it!" Enos said. Ross also employed this technique years prior when he worked with Mark Waid in Kingdom Come, one of DC Comics' most popular stories to date.

Arriving November 17, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and J. K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
