Widely considered one of the best DC Comics adaptations, period, the animated Justice League series from the early '00s is cherished by generations of fans for its careful take on fan-favorite characters and its original storylines. Though there isn't a reboot in the works anytime soon, there are rare moments when the cast comes together to celebrate the glorious achievement the animated series was -- and most recently, they did just that at Denver Comic-Con in the form of a live-read of the three-part saga "Starcrossed."

Kevin Conroy (Batman), George Newbern (Superman), Michael Rosenbaum (The Flash), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman), Maria Canals-Barrera (Hawkgirl) and Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern) took the stage in a panel moderated by Andrea Romano -- with Brian Cummings standing in for the absent Carl Lumbly as Martian Manhunter -- for the glorious reunion. Khary Payton filled the role of Thanagarian antagonist Hro Talak to re-create the fan-favorite episode that led into the Justice League Unlimited sequel series.
