One more actor is planning a trip to the iconic dinosaur theme park. Variety has learned that Justice Smith has been cast in the "Jurassic World" sequel. Smith previously starred in the Netflix series "The Get Down." Sources tell Variety that Smith will play a young scientist in the film

Part of a trilogy of new "Jurassic Park" films, the "Jurassic World" follow-up will begin filming in March. In addition to returning stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, the sequel will also star Toby Jones and Rafe Spall. B.D. Wong, who appeared in the first "Jurassic Park" film and returned for "Jurassic World," may also return for the sequel.

“Jurassic World 2” comes from writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. It will be directed by J.A. Bayona and produced by Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley and Belen Atienza. Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg will executive produce. “Jurassic World 2” will be released on June 22, 2018.
