Jurassic World fans are about to get the chance to plunge right into the dino-fueled action in the upcoming VR experience Jurassic World Aftermath VR, on its way to the Oculus Quest.

Developer Coatsink has released the debut trailer for the game, showing players navigating the ruins of the facilities on Jurassic World's primary setting of Isla Nublar, only to discover they are being stalked by ravenous velociraptors. The game will be released on the Oculus Quest on Dec. 17.

The trailer shows players hiding under tables and in lockers as raptors enter the room searching for their prey, in a scenario that calls back to a famous scene in the original Jurassic Park film. The player scrambles through air vents to escape, but at the end of the trailer, comes ominously face-to-face with the raptor as the voracious dinosaur lunges right at its latest victim.

The game's announcement comes after the premiere of the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous on Netflix earlier this month, while principal photography continues on the third film of the franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion, in the United Kingdom for a June 2021 release. The upcoming film had temporarily been suspended in March before resuming production this past July in London.
