Toby Jones ("Captain America," "The Hunger Games") and Rafe Spall ("Prometheus," "Life of Pi") are reportedly in talks to join the cast of "Jurassic World 2" (via Variety).

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are both expected to return in the follow-up to the 2015 blockbuster, which grossed $1.67 billion.

"Jurassic World 2" comes from writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. It will be directed by J.A. Bayona and produced by Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley and Belen Atienza. Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg will executive produce.

Plot details have not yet been released, but sources tell Variety that producers are also going to be testing for two other key roles in the project soon.

"Jurassic World 2" will be released on June 22, 2018.
