Months after negotiations were first revealed, Julianne Moore's casting in the Hunger Games franchise is officially a done deal.

In a press release, Lionsgate confirmed that the four-time Academy Award nominee has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Parts 1 & 2, the third and fourth films in the series. She will play President Alma Coin, leader of a fierce rebellion against the ruthless Capitol. The films are due out in November 2014 and November 2015.

Moore joins an all-star cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland and more.

The next film in the Hunger Games series, director Francis Lawrence's Catching Fire, burns into theaters on Nov. 22.
