Joss Whedon's Avengers sequel won't hit theaters for another two years, but you can actually see his next movie right about … now.

The Whedon-written, Brin Hill-directed In Your Eyes is available for digital rental for $5 at InYourEyesMovie.com, following the world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

"It's exciting for us because it means we get to explore yet another new form of distribution — and we get $5," Whedon said about the surprise announcement and release of his new movie.

"There's something really cool about a brand like Joss or a brand like Beyonce doing that, just dropping it on you," Hill added. "All of a sudden it's like, 'There it is. Bam.' You can consume it right now — and hopefully you like it."

In Your Eyes stars Zoe Kazan and Michael Stahl-David as two people who believe they've been psychically linked all their lives.

"It's about two people, classic Joss loner heroes, who are looking to break out of their limited circumstances and band together — a la The Avengers and anything else he's done — and find connection and meaning," Hill said.
