G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu just wrapped production on the live-action adaptation of Jem and the Holograms, but he still has another trick up his sleeve.

According to TheWrap, he's in line to replace Louis Leterrier on the sequel to the 2013 caper film Now You See Me.

Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman, Now You See Me was the surprise hit of last summer, grossing nearly $352 million worldwide off of a $75 million budget. In the original, Harrelson, Eisenberg, Fisher and Franco play illusionists who come together to form a group called the Four Horsemen to pull off elaborate tricks that target dirty corporate bigwigs. The four leads are expected to return in the sequel.

No reason was given for Leterrier's departure.
