Joker star Marc Maron was the subject of controversy last week when he said comic book movies "are for grown, male nerd childs.” The actor/comedian doubled down on those comments, though he later apologized for his behavior.

Maron shared the trailer on Twitter, writing, "Oh shit! This feels like a real grown up movie! Gonna be awesome." A fan then called him out for his earlier comments, resulting in a back and forth that reached its conclusion after Maron apologized for calling the person a dummy and saying, "I don’t know you at all and I apologize for calling you dummy. Been on a roll with a lot of trolls coming at me. Just been a little beside myself. Wasn’t really thinking."
