NOW TV, the digital-only U.K. TV channel, have secured the rights to stream the first six seasons of "The Walking Dead" to subscribers across the U.K., and to promote this service they have enlisted the talents of the British comedy legend John Cleese to recap the main action in the series so far on their YouTube channel.

Obviously, there is blood and gore and spoilers galore. But while I'm not totally convinced Cleese regularly watches the show himself, the script he is reading is amusing enough, and covers some basic rules for watching "The Walking Dead," including, "Lesson 1: zombies are not called zombies," and the even more important, "Lesson 2: There are no safe places."

This is good advice. Sadly, it also seems to be advice that Rick and his crew are chronically incapable of taking.

The video takes us all the way up to the Season 6 cliffhanger, inviting speculation on which character is going to die next. Unfortunately, NOW TV subscribers will be wondering who dies even longer than the rest of us -- Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" will receive its U.K. premiere on the Fox U.K. TV channel instead.
